Caught Jeff Beck last night at the Palaise after buying tickets at the very last minute. I was not a big fan, but I am now. He was amazing. I can now classify what I do on the guitar as noodling - at best. At 64 years of age, Mr Beck was full of energy and mesmerizing, but behind him getting her funk on, was his 16(!) 21 year old bass player, Tal Wilkenfeld.
